Scelte Strategiche, Search & Selection firm, is selecting an Engineering Director for the division headquarter of a multinational company based in the central part of Italy. The Engineering Director develops the technical strategy of the division and manages all product development and engineering activities in compliance with project specifications, budget estimates and delivery dates coordinating a staff of 80 engineers in Italy and other European locations. He/she is responsible for negotiating project specifications with international clients and for managing 3rd party SW/HW suppliers. The ideal candidate has an electronic engineering degree with at least 10 years experience and a strong managerial experience coordinating multiple concurrent engineering projects in a multinational context. The position requires strong leadership, project management and general management skills as well as excellent communication and team management competencies. International experience and availability to travel frequently is a must and knowledge of AGILE methodologies is appreciated.
